About Me  

My name is Rogelio Pérez, and I am a Principal Engineer and Engineering & Automation Consultant with over 10 years of experience helping organizations design, modernize, and scale software solutions across frontend, backend, cloud, and distributed environments.

Throughout my career, I have delivered enterprise applications and modernization initiatives across multiple industries, combining hands-on engineering with technical leadership and a strong focus on long-term maintainability, scalability, and business value.

My technical background includes .NET, C#, Angular, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Azure, AWS, and modern web technologies, with experience spanning greenfield initiatives, enterprise modernization, cloud-native architectures, distributed systems, and high-volume business applications.

I have led and contributed to technical initiatives involving software architecture, CI/CD alignment, cloud integrations, APIs, microservices, asynchronous processing, caching strategies, reactive frontend development, and performance optimization for systems operating at scale.

Beyond software development, I enjoy working closely with clients, engineering teams, architects, and stakeholders to bridge the gap between business goals and technical execution. I believe technology should not only solve problems but also create measurable and sustainable business impact.

Outside of engineering, I enjoy documentaries, science, technology, nature, history, and science fiction. I’m also passionate about animals, especially big cats and dogs.
